PLACEMENT PROCEDURE & POLICIES

Responsibilities of Placement Department

  •  The Placement Office (nodal point for placements at University Of Patanjali sends invitation to companies/organizations along with the relevant information.
  •  Classification of Companies will be based on salary packages, relationship & past record of recruitment at University Of Patanjali :
  • 1. A+ Category : CTC 7-10 Lacs per Annum
  • 2. A Category :  CTC  5-7 Lacs per Annum
  • 3. B+ Category : CTC 3-5 Lacs per Annum
  • 4. B Category CTC  2-3 Lacs per Annum
  • 5. C Category CTC 1-2 Lacs per Annum
  •  Placement Department will obtain all possible means (i.e. information available on Internet or physical visit to the company if required) to check the profile and track record of the company prior conducting the campus drive.
  •  Placement Department will ask the company to share the Job Description/Job Announcement Form indicating details of Organization, Job Profile, Salary Details, Selection Process, Minimum Qualification Required, Probation Period, Documents required for Joining, Tentative Date of Joining etc.
  •  The details provided by the companies through Job Announcement Form / Job Description and company brochures will be displayed in placement department and these details will also be shard with the concerned college.
  •  While sharing student data bank with companies the Placement Department will ensure that the contact numbers and email Id’s of students will be replaced with the contact number and email Id belongs to Placement Department so that companies will not be able to contact students
  •  With mutual consent of Head of Institutions of relevant institute, the Placement Department will suggest two or three dates to companies/organizations to conduct campus The company/organization will choose one date from the suggested dates and will inform to the Placement department.
  •  Placement department will convey the confirmed date in writing to head of the concerned
  •  Company will visit the campus on the allotted date to conduct tests and/or interviews according to their recruitment process.
  •  Placement Department will conduct mock drill/PD sessions two days before the campus This will help the students to build up their confidence.
  •  The company/organization shall be requested to furnish the final list of selected students on the same day of campus drive or after the document verification
  •  The company shall hand over the duly signed hard copy of the final list of selected candidates to the placement department.
  •  The company shall provide the offer letters to the Placement department and not directly to the students.
  •  If any University Of Patanajali college is organizing the campus drive, Placement Department will make necessary arrangements for hospitality of executives.
  •  After placement drives, it should be well published in campus.
  • Responsibility of Institutions

  •  Placement form, provided by Placement Department, will be filled by final year students of all colleges (except SMC, SDC & SNC).
  •  Data bank of each student is to be kept ready by the college and to be forwarded to the placement department.
  •  Once the concerned college is in possession of job description then within three days college shall provide the details of participants to the placement office.
  •  The job description provided by the placement department will be displayed at noticc board of concerned college.
  •  Regular and frequent communication between the Head of Institutions and Executives of Placement Department is to be done.
  •  If any University Of Patanjali college is organizing the campus drive, an advance notification is to be sent to Placement Also the complete job description is to be shared with placement office.
  •  The concerned college will issue the NOC (No Objection Certificate) to the selected students prior joining the company.
  •  To develop better communication skill of students, it is advised that final year students be asked routinely to talk on any topic with class mates in presence of Faculty.
  • Guidelines for Students

  •  All students of final year are eligible to participate in the placement However, thcy shall be permitted to join the assignment only in last semester.
  •  Student should meet the requirements/eligibility criteria specified in the Job Announcement Form provided by the company.
  •  In case the company is unable to declare the result on the same day or the selection process gets delayed due to d‹›cumentation part, then the student  is allowed to participate in other campus drives & the final status will depend on which company declares the result first.
  •  In case a student gets selected in 2 or more companies on the same day, then the company ranked higher in the preference order of the student will be the one where the student would be finally considered placed
  •  Student will get only five attempts to appear in campus drive.
  •  If student's name appears on the final shortlist declared after the Company's selection process through the Placement Cell, then that would be considered as an offer to the student.
  •  Student attendance in the placement department is mandatory prior commencement of selection process.
  •  lf any student quits in between, he/she will be debarred & will not be al lowed to appear in any other future placement events, except in special circumstances
  •  Communication between student and Company should be channelized only through the placement department of SVSU and not directly by the student.
  •  Proper diligence should be done before accepting or declining an Once the offer letter is accepted by the student, thereafter if he/she declines the acceptance then such student will be debarred and will not be allowed to appear in any other future placement events, except in genuine and special circumstances.
  •  Student will be out of campus placement process if he/she accepts the offer from any of the company belongs to A+ to C Category.
  •  Student who has accepted an offer is expected to join on the specified joining date.
  •  If any student does not accept an offer due to pursuing higher studies, in this situation the student needs to inform the placement department in writing.
  •  Affidavit is to be taken from students indicating that University Of Patanjali does not guarantee for the credentials of appointing company/organization and student is advised to verify the same at his/her end.
